MNEEMO App review & GIVEAWAY!

18 March 2013

I'm just going to lay it out to you now...there are going to be some serious giveaways happening in the next few weeks, so get ready! We've already started off with the HUGE SLP giveaway, and today it's Mneemo! from Danielle Rico.
Mneemo is a memory game based app that comes with 4 pre-made games: Letters, Numbers, Animals, and Shapes.
The gear in the bottom left-hand corner of the open screen allows you to upload pictures directly from your CameraRoll. This is awesome, because it means you can create any kind of memo game you want-artic, wh-questions, vocab...the list is endless! Snap a shot of artic/language cards and spice up your drill and practice, or take pictures of things in your student's environment!
Ranges of difficulty make this app useful for students of all levels. I loved being able to use it in some of my elementary articulation groups.

The field is easy to touch for students, and gives immediate feedback to let players know if they have a winner, or need to try again. Score is kept at the bottom for added competition.
Things I love: Easy to use, no links to the web, highly adaptable, useful in group settings.

What I'd love to see in an update: More built-in games, and data keeping abilities for individual users. An option to play against the computer would be great for single clients, or parents who want to download and play at home.

You can pick up Mneemo! on the iTunes store, or you can enter below to win a copy! You have until Thursday, March 21st, so enter while you can!
